Hello! I am the creator and artist behind the scenes of "ADK Creative Works".  I have taught hundreds of folks how to paint over the past 30 years, and although I enjoyed taking part in craft shows in my younger days, those days are done - I'd much rather be teaching or creating designs to sell in my Etsy shop.  A fun fact, my first Etsy sale was to a customer in Italy, and then to a customer in Canada! I'm thrilled to be helping folks around the world express themselves through art!

I reside in the foothills of the Adirondacks, and I'm mom to 3 grown children and a feral cat I've tamed, as well as grandma to my first grandbaby. My painting background started when my oldest was a newborn and I wanted something quiet to do when he was napping. It took off from there!  When I'm not working on my art designs or teaching, my happy place is with family and friends. I do love the outdoors and nature though, so I draw great inspiration from our beautiful planet.
