About the event
Art is what binds us together as a society. More than language and laws. It's in our music, in our media, in our books and in the images we see every day.
Even more than that, it's what survives us long after we are gone. What's left of our oldest civilizations is not their laws, not their languages, not their math or their science, but their art. The paintings on cave walls. Before humans even really learned to build and speak and farm, they were making art.
That's why art is important. It's because it's what makes us human. And that's why it's important to teach art to kids! Join us for this weekly art class where we make something different every week, using all different types of mediums. Ages 6 and up welcome.
